World Hydrography Day 2024

Today, 21 June, World Hydrography Day is celebrated, a day that aims to promote international cooperation and encourage the development of new technologies and practices in the field of hydrography.

To mark this date, the Hydrographic Institute organized a presentation session with the aim of making known the most relevant works, campaigns and missions carried out last year, namely those that contributed most to the theme chosen by the International Hydrographic Organization as the theme of this year's World Hydrography Day: Hydrographic Information - Enhancing safety, efficiency and sustainability in marine activities.
