World Hydrography Day 2021
On June 21, the World Hydrography Day was marked at the Hydrographic Institute (IH) through a commemorative session.
This day, approved and implemented by the International Hydrographic Organization (OHI), serves to highlight the importance and relevance of hydrography and as a way of disseminating the work of hydrographers.
In the IH, Rear Admiral Director General, Carlos Ventura Soares gave a brief allusive address to this day, following a presentation on the data infrastructure of the Ocean “Hydrographic +”, by Captain Lieutenant Paulo Antunes Nunes.
