World Hydrography Day 2017

On June 21, the World Hydrography Day is celebrated.

This day was set up in November 2005 by resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations, with the aim of promoting and disseminating the relevance of this science to the safety of navigation and to support various maritime activities.

In 2017, this day will be marked with the theme "Map our seas, oceans and waterways - more important than ever".
