WEBINAR Innovation & Technology in Coastal and Port Engineering: Nature Based Solutions

On 20 May 2022, the second took place. Webinar organized by young professionals from PIANC, who intended to gather and bring Portuguese professionals to work in Portugal and abroad, focusing on the theme of Innovation & Technology in Coastal and Port Engineering (“Working with Nature” & “Nature-based Solutions”).

The event counted on 8 speakers of excellence, who shared their professional experiences, and with a total of 350 participants, from 20 countries distinct and representing several areas of activity of Coastal and Port Engineering: designers, consultants, contractors, researchers, port administrations, responsible for coastal management, among many other areas.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Hydrographic Institute and the SGP – Geotechnics Portuary and was an integral part of the celebrations of Navy Day.
