WEBINAR Coastal Engineering in Portugal and the World - 2023

On May 19, 2023, the third Webinar was organized by the young professionals of PIANC, who intended to gather and bring Portuguese professionals to work in Portugal and abroad, focusing on the themes of “Energy of the oceans: offshore, energy waves and tides” and “Management of coastal zones”.

The event had 11 speakers of excellence, who shared their professional experiences and a total of 286 participants, coming from 28 different countries and representing several areas of activity of Coastal and Port Engineering: designers, consultants, contractors, researchers, port administrations, responsible for coastal management, among many other areas.

The session is available on Youtube of the Hydrographic Institute and the Network of Coastal Engineering Professionals in Portugal and the World presented is available on the site of PIANC Portugal, where you can also find all the information about the event (worshipers and presentations).

The event was organized in collaboration with the Hydrographic Institute and was an integral part of the celebrations of Navy Day.

The next edition is scheduled for May 2024, dedicated to the theme most voted at the end of the session: “Number modelling: oceans, coasts and estuaries”
