WATER World Forum for Life
The event "WATERWorld Forum for Life"it took place between 3 and 6 June, in Alqueva, and addressed in a cross-sectional way environmental sustainability and good practices in the preservation of the environment, with water as its starting point.
During the event, First Lieutenant António Tavares of the Hydrographic Institute joined the panel on “Seawater rise in coastal cities – predictions and challenges” where the importance of the national maritime network was addressed in monitoring and predicting the increase in the mean sea level, and also the impact that this increase could have on naval facilities located in coastal areas.
