Visit by the Angolan Defense Minister to the IH

The Hydrographic Institute received the official visit of His Excellency the Minister of National Defense of Angola, General Salviano de Jesus Sequerira “Kianda”, accompanied by the Ambassador of Angola in Portugal.

The distinguished visitors were welcomed by the Admiral Chief of Staff of the Armada, Admiral Mendes Calado.

It was up to the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral Ventura Soares, to present the technical and scientific validity of the IH and the main projects under way, highlighting those related to Portuguese-speaking countries, especially in the context of hydrography.
