Visit by the President of the Foundation for Science and Technology

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received, on July 15, 2016, the visit of the President of the Foundation for Science and Technology, Prof. Doctor Paulo Ferrão.

At the invitation of the Director-General, Rear Admiral Coelho Cândido, this work visit aimed to accompany the activity and ongoing projects in the IH, as well as the potential of each of the areas of the sciences and techniques of the sea, contribute to the technological and scientific development of the country.

At the end of the visit, the President of the Science and Technology Foundation signed the Honor Book, where he expressed the following testimony: “Congratulations on the remarkable mission and outstanding contributions to the good of Science and the Nation. ”
