Visit by the Minister for Equipment, Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Morocco

The Hydrographic Institute received on September 2, 2016, the visit of the Minister of Equipment, Transport and Logistics of the Kingdom of Morocco, Eng.o M. Aziz Rabbah.

Accompanied by Mrs. Minister of the Sea, Eng. Ana Paula Vitorino, Morocco's entourage was received by the Chief of Staff of the Navy and National Maritime Authority, Admiral Macieira Fragoso.

After a few brief words of welcome to the Navy and the Hydrographic Institute, by SEXA ALM CEMA, the visiting delegation had the opportunity to attend the institutional film on the mission of this Navy and State Laboratory, also making a brief visit to the Divisions of the Technical Directorate - Hydrography, Navigation, Oceanography, Technical-Scientific Data Center, Marine Geology and Chemistry and Pollution of the Marine Environment, which allowed for an exchange of information and a better knowledge of the IH's valences in areas of interest related to the Sea and training in scientific and research areas, as well as the capabilities and projects currently occurring at national and international level.
