Visit by the Guinean CEMA to the work of the current OH

On 11 October 2017, His Excellency the Chief of Staff of the Armada of Guinea-Bissau, Rear Admiral Carlos Alfredo Mandungal visited the so-called “Cais Velho” of the Port of Bissau to discover the maregraphic station installed by the Hydrographic Brigade (BH) with the support of the Port Administration of Guinea-Bissau (APGB).

This sea station will be installed in Porto de Bissau for a period of approximately six months, with the function of supporting the current hydrographic survey, and also updating the harmonic constants for more stringent predictions of the tides of Porto de Bissau.
