Visit by the Director-General of the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy at the Hydrographic Base

On July 26 the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute (IH), Rear Admiral Ventura Soares, received at the Hydrographic Base Vice Admiral Sarmento Gouveia the visit of the Director-General of the Directorate-General for Maritime Policy (DGPM), Dr Ruben Eiras.

This visit aimed to know the valences existing in the Hydrographic Base, in particular those of the Maritime Instrumentation Center, a center with potential in technological development in the area of observation systems and dedicated to the calibration, maintenance and development of technical-scientific equipment and instruments used in research in the Sea Sciences.
