Study visit from the Euro-Atlantic Blue School to the Hydrographic Institute

On February 27, 2020, the Hydrographic Institute received a visit from a group of students from the Euro-Atlantic Blue School.

At the Hydrographic Institute, the students and teachers who accompanied them had the opportunity to contact the activities and projects developed within the scientific areas of oceanography, marine geology, chemistry and pollution of the marine environment, cartography and navigation, which are the areas covered by the Divisions of the Technical Directorate.

The program of this visit included a presentation on the Hydrographic Institute, a view of the premises of the Divisions of the Technical Directorate, areas of offices and laboratories and also a passage through the Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Center where they attended a presentation on the activities that this Centre develops in GEOMETOC support for national maritime operations and allied forces.
