Visit by the Chief of Staff of the Spanish Navy to the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received on 20 November the visit of the Chief of Staff of the Spanish Armada, Admiral General D. Teodoro Esteban López Calderón, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the Armada and National Maritime Authority, Admiral Mendes Calado.

This visit presented the technical and scientific capabilities linked to the sea and the support of the IH for naval operations as well as the facilities of the Divisions of the Technical Directorate and the Naval Meteorological and Oceanographic Center.
