Visit of the Maritime Confraternity of Portugal to the OH

The Maritime Confraternity of Portugal visited the Hydrographic Institute on April 7th. The confreres were received by the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido. The visit included the areas of the Technical Directorate linked to the sciences and techniques of the Sea that contribute to the development of the country and defense of the marine environment, and the historical spaces of the Convent of Trinas, where the institute currently operates.

The Maritime Confraternity of Portugal, whose main objectives are cultural and mecenatic, seeks to contribute to the Sea being a true national design and to ensure that maritime activities are once again highlighted among us.
