Two ENSTA students from France perform internship at the IH
The Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avançaes - ENSTA Bretagne was created in 1971 to train military engineers within the needs of the Ministry of Defense. In 1990, the School also opened up to the civil community, with some 20% of military students today.
Among the various courses available is the Masters in Hydrography, which, like the Specialization Course of the Hydrographic Institute, is one of the 20 courses worldwide with international recognition with category A, being the only one in France.
The collaboration through the sending of students of this master's degree to intern in the IH has been going on for some years, and a protocol is currently being developed to frame this cooperation.
The current interns, who will be among us until September 9th, are Mr. Marc Pezerat and Lieutenant Jeremy Romain Rossetto. The stages will take place, above all, in the Hydrography Division and the Hydrographic Brigade, and will be dedicated to research into the speed of propagation of sound in water and bathymetric surfaces.
