Third sampling and data collection mission for the project AQUIMAR
The Hydrographic Institute initiated the third sampling and data collection mission for the AQUIMAR – Marine Knowledge Supporting Aquaculture project.
On board the NRP Auriga will be taken sediment samples from 30 September to 13 October, covering the coast of the Algarve, Sines and Peniche.
The sediment samples will be analyzed in terms of biological, physicochemical and microplastic parameters.
The first sediment harvests were carried out off Sines.
