Nova SBE Students Visit the Vasco da Gama Aquarium as Part of the Collaboration with the Hydrographic Institute
As part of the Hydrographic Institute’s (HI) scientific contribution to the course “Principles of Oceanography” in the Bachelor’s Degree in Ocean Studies at Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), a student visit to the Vasco da Gama Aquarium took place this week.
The visit was guided by the Director of the Vasco da Gama Aquarium, Captain (Navy) Nuno Galhardo Leitão, and focused on the history of the museum as well as the main scientific research activities carried out there.
This initiative forms part of the ongoing collaboration between the HI and Nova SBE, contributing to the promotion of ocean literacy and providing students with direct contact with leading institutions dedicated to the study of the sea.
