Students of the Secondary School Professor Ruy Luís Gomes visit IH

Some students of the 10th year of the Secondary School Professor Ruy Luís Gomes in Almada, accompanied by their teachers of Geography and Portuguese, visited the Hydrographic Institute to learn about the potential of the coast, the maritime space and the profitability of maritime resources.

They were received by Doctor Luisa Muds that spoke to them of “The Knowledge of the Sea and the Use of its Resources” and by Eng.a. Ana Moura who led them to know “How a Nautical Letter is produced.”

The visit ended with a passage through the cartography exhibition and the equipment that illustrate the evolution of technology in the study of the Oceans.
