Study visit of the students of Escola Superior Nautica Infante D. Henrique

On 19 April, the Hydrographic Institute (HI) received a study visit from a group of 3rd year students of the Piloting Course of the Upper Nautical School Infante D. Henrique accompanied by a teacher. After attending the institutional film on the main mission and areas of activity of the IH, the students had the opportunity to know the divisions of the Technical Directorate, in order to deepen knowledge about the research activities in the areas of Navigation, Hydrography, Geographic Information Systems, Oceanography, Chemistry and Marine Geology, as well as the means used for measuring and processing data associated with these activities. The visit was complemented by a passage through the Library and the School of Hydrography and Oceanography.
