Start of Technical Hydrography Course 2018/19

On September 10th, the 2018/19 edition of the Technical Hydrography Course of the Hydrography and Oceanography School of the Hydrographic Institute began.

The current edition of the Course, in addition to the four sergeants of the Portuguese Navy, includes two civilians of Portuguese nationality.

Civil students are employees of a Portuguese company that develops activity in the area of hydrographic surveys and that aims to provide them with better preparation and knowledge. This case proves once again the growing interest of the civil community in attending our courses, taking advantage of the opportunity given to enjoy the excess vacancies.

This interest is largely due to its international recognition, in the specific case with category B, whose renewal process was recently completed, and currently only 31 courses worldwide are recognized with this category.

This course will last 44 weeks, expected to end on August 9, 2019.
