Start of the Hydrographic Officers Specialization Course
On Monday, September 8, the Hydrographic Institute (HI) welcomed six students — four military personnel and two civilians — at the School of Hydrography and Oceanography (EHO), who began the Officers’ Specialization Course in Hydrography (Category “A”).
As part of the reception, the students toured the HI facilities, gaining the opportunity to visit the divisions of the Technical Directorate, the Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Maritime Center (CGEOMETOC), as well as the historic Convent of the Trines building and its surroundings.
Internationally recognized, this course aims to meet the needs of the HI and the Navy, preparing officers for roles in Hydrography and Oceanography.
We wish all students every success in this new stage of their training!
