Secretary of State for Digitalisation visits the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute (HI) welcomed, on 11 December, the visit of the Secretary of State for Digitalisation, Bernardo Correia.

During the visit, the Secretary of State attended a presentation on the Institute’s activities and resources, delivered by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral João Ramalho Marreiros.

This was followed by a tour of the HI facilities, including the Chemistry Laboratory, the Library, the Pharmacy, the Maritime Geospatial, Meteorological and Oceanographic Centre (CGEOMETOC), and the NATO Centre of Excellence (MGEOMETOC).

The visit concluded with the signing of the Book of Honour and the presentation of an institutional memento to the Secretary of State for Digitalisation.
