Recovery of the glider “Caldas” after mission

The glider “Caldas” is back home! It traveled 276.12 km on 12 mission days, making 138 dives from the surface to maximum depths of 950 meters, collecting conductivity and temperature data along the water column. It was collected with the support of ISN Sesimbra at 7.5 nautical miles south of Sesimbra.

The “Caldas” will now go through the maintenance process after mission and raw data will be recovered from internal memory and processed for future use.
