Recognition of the Technical Hydrography Course with Category B

On April 23, the proposal to renew the recognition of the Technical Course of Hydrography with Category B was defended by the Hydrography and Oceanography School of the Hydrographic Institute.

During this presentation, held by videoconferencing, since the meeting took place in Indonesia (Bandung), the International Board on Standards of Competence for Hydrographic Surveyors and Nautical Cartographers (IBSC) decided to consider the renewal of the recognition of this course with category B.

It should be noted that the EHO Technical Hydrography Course will remain one of the few certified courses. Currently there are only 31 hydrography courses worldwide with this recognition, two of them in Portuguese.
