Presentation of trainee Flavio Nobre’s professional fitness test

On June 17, the intern Flávio Nobre, from the Augusto Cabrita do Barreiro School, presented his professional aptitude test of the Management and Programming Course of Computer Systems.

The presentation of this evidence is the result of the work carried out during his internship at the Hydrographic Institute (HI), from 4 March to 28 May 2020.

At the beginning of the internship, the student dedicated himself to the development of an application for editing and viewing the data of maritime agitation from the ondograph buoys. However, due to the covid-19 pandemic, this application was not completed because a direct link to a technical-scientific database of the IH was necessary.

In order for this internship to be successfully completed, the IH and the Augusto Cabrito School have proposed to the student, as an alternative, to create an application for the Android platform and IOS that would allow the visualization of preias and low seas, from a file in pdf format of the tide table (volume I, 2020).

The evidence was presented successfully. It remains for IH to wish Flavius Noble happiness and achieving your personal and professional goals.
