My Stage at the Hydrographic Institute - Gonçalo Martins

I'm Gonçalo Martins, a student at the Army Pupils Institute, attend the Industrial Maintenance Technician course and have been interning for two months at the Hydrographic Institute. This internship was held at the Section of Limits of Mistakes and at the Section of Electrotechnics of the Infrastructure and Transport Service (IT) from 6 May to 3 July 2019.

During the internship the main focus was to ensure the proper functioning and readiness of the self-protection systems and infrastructure of the IH facilities in Lisbon - Trinas and I also had the opportunity to perform some maintenance actions to machines and repair some failures.

With this internship I achieved in part of my technical-professional training I gained some experience and decision-making capacity, learned a lot from my coordinators, improved my organization and learning. I was very well integrated in the environment and in living together.
