The Hydrographic Institute celebrates 64 years

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) held today, October 3, the Memorial Session of the 64th Anniversary.

To start the festivities, the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral João Paulo Ramalho Marreiros, addressed the IH community, which is composed of military, militarized and civil, doing a retrospective of the work done in this institution. During his intervention, the Rear Admiral was proud of the path of the IH, but motivated to continue working to achieve new achievements.

As part of the celebration, the ceremony was held to impose decorations and give souvenirs to civil servants who completed 35, 25 and 15 years of service in the IH.

The celebrations of this 64th anniversary of the Hydrographic Institute ended with a lunch and conviviality among the military, militarized and civil, whose work and dedication contribute to the IH being a center of information and knowledge, thus serving the country's development in the scientific and defense areas of the maritime environment.
