The IH receives a visit from a delegation from the Ministry of the Sea

The Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral Coelho Cândido received, on 1 June 2017, a delegation from the Ministry of the Sea, Interior waters and Fisheries of Mozambique, headed by Dr. Celso Lopes, Deputy National Director of Maritime and Fisheries Policies, accompanied by Dr. Silvestre Solomon Silindane, Director of the Legal Office, Dr. Délio Marques, Legal Advisor of the Minister of Justice, Constitutional and Religious Affairs, and by Eng. Clara Justino of the Cooperation Area of the Executive Secretariat of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries.

After the presentation of greetings, the delegation of Mozambique attended the institutional film on the activity of the Hydrographic Institute, and then visited the Technical Directorate, the School of Hydrography and Oceanography and the Library, in order to deepen their knowledge about the studies and projects developed in the IH, with regard to knowledge and research at sea.
