Portela Trucks, Nature Club, visit the IH

Coinciding with the International Museum Day, the Hydrographic Institute received on 18 May the visit of a group organized by "Portela Trucks, Nature Club», association of recreation and culture founded in 1993, based in Loures.

The twenty visitors carried out the traditional circuit through the visitable premises of the former Trinitarian convent, having been able to observe in the current architectural complex the traces of past functions and uses. In addition to the expressive collection of baroque tiles, the target of general admiration, some emblematic pieces of the Institute's technical and scientific collections were also appreciated.
