National Mar Day 2023

Today, the National Day of the Sea is celebrated, a recognition by the sea that throughout history has become the identity of our nation.

For the Hydrographic Institute this day is the renewal of a commitment to the search for knowledge, study, research and preservation of our maritime resources, because in the Portuguese Navy, the Hydrographic Institute fulfills the mission: “Know the sea, so that all may use it.”
