Nazaré's multiparameter buoys ready for the big waves
The Hydrographic Institute, on board the NRP “D. Carlos I”, concluded yesterday, 23 November, the maintenance of the oceanic and coastal buoys of Nazareth, thus ensuring continuous and real-time observation of the meteoceanographic conditions in the Cannon of Nazareth.
These two buoys are part of the IH's MONIZEE buoy network, and, in addition to measuring maritime agitation, measure the surface temperature of sea water, meteorological parameters and current in the water column.
