Hydrophone mounting in the southern pillar of the 25th April Bridge

The 25th of April Bridge is the central piece of the Shadow Soundings exhibition by artist Bill Fontana, to be inaugurated at the MAAT (Art, Architecture and Technology Museum) on October 4.

This sonic sculpture piece features microphones mounted on the bridge in several locations. One of these is a “hydrophone” and was placed on the southern pillar of the bridge by the Hydrographic Institute and the Navy divers.
