Take-over of the post of Director-General of the IH

It was held on 28 January 2022, the ceremony of taking office as Director General of the Hydrographic Institute (IH).

At this ceremony, presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Navy and National Maritime Authority, Admiral Gouveia and Melo, and attended by representatives of military and civil congenial entities, the Deputy Admiral Vice-Admiral of the Armada Staff and the general officers who lead the various sectors of the Navy, as well as military and civilian service in the IH, Rear Admiral Simões Marques took office, surrendering Vice Admiral Ventura Soares.
