Meeting of State Laboratories at the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute, as the State Laboratory, integrated into the Navy, provided on June 16, 2015, a meeting of State Laboratories. The Presidents and representatives of the Laboratories who attended were welcomed by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral José Luís Branco Seabra de Melo.

After the exhibition of the institutional film where the IH mission was presented, the Director-General of the IH held a presentation on the research, study and dissemination activities in the field of marine sciences and techniques, at the service of maritime public policies.

This Meeting allowed for a closer approximation between the State Laboratories, which represent an important sector of the Brazilian Scientific and Technological System, thus enabling future and joint initiatives to be seen within R&D.
