VALUE MISSION

On 29 and 30 June 2017, as part of the monitoring programme for water quality and sediments in the surroundings of the Urban Solid Waste Treatment Centre (CTRSU), belonging to VALORSUL - Valuation and Treatment of Solid Wastes of the Regions of Lisbon and the West, S.A. , whose objective is to monitor the evolution of the state of the environment surrounding CTRSU, the Hydrographic Institute carried out a series of tasks, including the installation of equipment for measuring currents and sensors for measuring water temperature, relating to the Cooling Water Circuit (CAR) of that plant.

This mission was carried out on board the UAM Fisalia, with the participation of 1 elements of the Oceanography Division, 2 elements of the Maritime Instrumentation Centre and 3 elements belonging to the garrison of that vessel.
