Marinetech 2017, day three.

The second edition of Marinetech was completed yesterday.

On this third and final day of the workshop, presentations on the topics of observatories and new challenges in the sea sector continued. The closing session was held at the end of the event, which was chaired by the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido.
In his speech the Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute welcomed the participants and the organisation of this event dedicated to an area where scientific activity has been following the rapid technological pace in the design of new equipment and applications. In this context, still in his intervention, he launched the challenge for hardware producers to develop systems based on free access, allowing users to change sensor settings for their use in different scenarios and research areas.
