Maintenance to Viana do Castelo Maregraphic Station
Preventive maintenance is an important part of the management of any type of infrastructure, contributing to the increase in the life span of equipment, to the reduction of unwanted downtime and ultimately to the reduction of long-term maintenance costs. That is, it is a type of planned maintenance that takes place even when an equipment maintains its operational capacity.
And because not all maintenance is done at the Hydrographic Institute facilities, a team from the Maritime Instrumentation Center went to the Marathon station of Viana do Castelo to carry out another periodic review.
