Launch of the glider "Leonor"

The glider "Leonor" was successfully launched, on June 5, South of Sesimbra, in the cannon of Setúbal, with the support of naval means of the Shipwreck Help Institute of Sesimbra, for its first mission of testing and piloting training.

Like his colleague "Caldas", he will perform two weeks of mission to the Southwest of Cape Espichel, collecting data on temperature, salinity, turbidity, chlorophyll and dissolved oxygen between the surface and the 1000m deep.
