Judges of the Supreme Court visited the IH

On November 27, the Chief of Staff of the Armada (CEMA), Admiral Mendes Calado, received at the Hydrographic Institute (IH) a committee of judges of the 3rd Section of the Supreme Court.

This visit took place during the scheduled visits to the Navy. It was the opportunity for the Navy commander to present the sector of sciences and techniques of the sea, giving special emphasis to the major projects under way, namely the ‘Maping of the Portuguese Sea’, the ‘Observation of the Ocean’, through the monitoring network, and the ‘Forecasting’ of sea behavior in different geospatial areas and for different purposes (scientific, civil, military, State authority at sea).
