International Day of Women and Girls in Science

The International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated annually on February 11.

This initiative, implemented in 2015 by UNESCO and UN Women, in collaboration with institutions and civil society partners, aims to recognize and promote the fundamental contribution of women and girls to science.

The Hydrographic Institute marks this occasion by wishing all its female scientists a happy International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
