International Marine Geology publishes work of IH co-laborers

It was published in the renowned international magazine Marine Geology the work entitled “A statistical interpretation of acoustic backscatter and laser responses to suspended particulate variations in the coastal shelf” by Ana Isabel Santos, Dora Carinhas, Anabela Oliveira and José Paulo Pinto of the Hydrogafic Institute, in collaboration with Prof. Conceição Freitas da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa e do Prof. Daniel M. Hanes of St. Louis University (USA). This paper describes the most recent contribution of these researchers to the implementation of a technique for processing and analysis of acoustic correntometer data for the study of suspended sediments in the water column.
