Internal audits of IH testing and calibration laboratories

Under the management systems, an internal audit of testing and calibration laboratories was carried out at the Hydrographic Institute from 5 to 12 February 2020 in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 regulatory framework.

Being the Hydrographic Institute in the transition phase to the new edition of the standard, NP EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, this audit was an essential tool in verifying the degree of compliance with the new requirements and identifying the aspects to be improved until the next external audit of the Portuguese Accreditation Institute, to be carried out in the first half of this year.
