Hydrographic Institute renews Quality Certification

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) received this week the Certificate of Conformity regarding the renewal of its NP EN ISO 9001:2015 certification, presented by Commander Caldeira dos Santos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Portuguese Certification Association (APCER).

Since 2007, the IH Quality Management System has been implemented and certified by APCER for the collection, processing and validation of topo-hydrographic and oceanographic data, the production and dissemination of nautical information and documents, as well as the provision of services in the field of navigation safety.

The delivery of this renewal certificate confirms the IH’s capacity, in the fulfilment of its mission, to develop and provide products and services with high levels of quality, supporting research and technological development activities in marine sciences and techniques.
