Hydrographic Institute receives visit from the National Security Office and the National Cybersecurity Centre

The Hydrographic Institute hosted, at the Azinheira Hydrographic Base, a group of representatives from the National Security Office (GNS) and the National Cybersecurity Centre.

The visit provided direct contact with the operational reality of the Portuguese Navy and the Hydrographic Institute, contributing to the strengthening of the spirit of mission, cooperation and teamwork between the entities involved.

During the visit, the delegation had the opportunity to learn about the Maritime Instrumentation Centre, the Calibration Laboratory, the Galeotas Pavilion, the Wave Buoy Depot, as well as the Hydrographic Institute’s vessels and oceanographic equipment.
