Hydrographic Institute receives visit from students of the Maritime Traffic Operator Training Course

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) welcomed yesterday, January 15, a group of students from the Maritime Traffic Operator Training Course – VTSO, promoted by the Centre for Specialized Studies and Training (CEFE) of the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School.

The main objective of this visit was to provide trainees with direct contact with the mission, responsibilities, and activities carried out by the Hydrographic Institute.

Throughout the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore the divisions of the Technical Directorate, thereby deepening their knowledge of the IH’s contribution to maritime traffic management, navigation safety, and the protection of the marine environment.
