HYDROGRAPHIC INSTITUTE HOSTS THE 11th IBERIAN ATLANTIC MARGIN SYMPOSIUM

The 11th Iberian Atlantic Margin Symposium (MIA) began yesterday, 29 October, at the Hydrographic Institute in Lisbon.

This scientific meeting, which brings together specialists from Portugal and Spain, aims to present and discuss the latest methods and research findings in the fields of marine and coastal sciences.

The MIA Symposium runs for three days, concluding on 31 October with a field trip focused on the geological context of the Lusitanian Basin, between Rio Maior and the Nazaré Canyon.
