Hydrographic Institute Hosts the 4th Luso-Spanish Hydrography Conference

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Hydrographic Institute of the Spanish Navy will jointly organise the 4th Luso-Spanish Hydrography Conference, to be held in Lisbon, at the premises of the Hydrographic Institute, from 24 to 26 June 2026, within the framework of the World Hydrography Day celebrations.

This initiative aims to provide an open forum for the scientific community to discuss topics related to hydrography and other areas of Marine Sciences, thereby strengthening Luso-Spanish cooperation in this field.

Those interested in presenting papers are invited to submit an abstract proposal by 13 March 2026, in accordance with the guidelines available on the official event webpage. Communications will be considered upon submission of the corresponding extended abstract by 20 April 2026.

The provisional programme of the Conference will be published from 14 April 2026 onwards.
