Hydrographic Institute signs Protocol - 2024

On 4 January, a Protocol of Technical and Scientific Cooperation was signed between the Hydrographic Institute (HI), the Administration of the Port of Aveiro (APA, S.A.) and the Administration of the Port of Figueira da Foz (APFF, S.A.).

This Protocol, signed by the Director-General of the IH, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of APA, S.A. and APFF, S.A., has as its main objective the promotion of the exchange of experience, knowledge and technical and scientific information, including to ensure safety in navigation, ensuring maritime accessibility and the safeguarding of the environment, as well as the implementation of joint training, actions and research, conservation and monitoring projects in the fields of hydrography, oceanography, chemistry, marine geology and hydrographic cartography, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity of advantages.
