Mayor of Seixal Visits the Hydrographic Institute

On July 3rd, the Hydrographic Institute (IH) welcomed the Mayor of the Municipality of Seixal, Paulo Silva, accompanied by the Vice-President, Joaquim Tavares, and the Head of Communications, Magda Pereira.

The main objective of this visit was to foster cooperation synergies and strengthen institutional ties between the IH and the Municipality of Seixal, with a view to identifying potential areas of collaboration, particularly considering the geographical location of the Hydrographic Base of Azinheira (BHA).

The visit also served as an opportunity to present the work carried out by the IH at its Lisbon facilities across various areas of activity, and to demonstrate how these efforts are interconnected with the operations at the BHA, located in Seixal.
