Hydrographic Institute hosts a visit from the Institute of Marine Research

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) welcomed a delegation from the Institute of Marine Research (IMR), a renowned Norwegian institution in the fields of Marine Sciences and Technologies, on Tuesday, the 21st.

The The visit took place within the framework of the project “Synergies for the Coastal Ocean between Norway and Portugal” (COSYNOPT), funded by the Bilateral Cooperation program between Portugal and Norway under the EEA Grants financial mechanism.

The IMR delegation participated in an initial session featuring general presentations of both institutions, followed by a visit to the divisions of the Technical Directorate of the Hydrographic Institute, as well as the Hydrographic Base of Azinheira, located in Seixal.
